The study of Chinese literary geography has achieved fruitful results in recent years, but looking at the current research situation, there is still a large space for academic development in five aspects. Firstly, in the field of systematic research, the current research results focus on human systematic research, and the research on literary systematic research needs to be strengthened. Secondly, it is necessary to comprehensively and systematically excavate the research results of Literary Geography in the early 20th century, so as to more deeply understand the transformation and development of Chinese Literary Geography in this critical period. Thirdly, the thought of Literary Geography contained in Chinese ancient books needs to be systematically and deeply sorted out in order to explore and activate its value to the construction of modern discipline of literary geography. Fourthly, there is a problem of separation between "spatial literature" and "literary space" in the study of Chinese literary geography, which needs to strengthen the integration of the two in the study. Fifthly, the current study of Chinese Literary Geography focuses on evidence and ignores theory. It needs horizontal interdisciplinary reference and vertical in-depth refining of traditional resources to promote theoretical innovation.

The literary writers of the Tang ang Song dynasties sensitively captured the spatial imagery of the street to develop their poetic imagination of the city. With the gradual breakdown of the bazaar system and curfew system in the process of urban transformation, the linear public space of the street transformed from a political road of competition to a stage of urban life, from the coldness of the curfew in which "the drums in the six streets were cut off from the dust" to the hustle and bustle in which "Jin Wu was not forbidden to roam the six streets", from the transformation the natural aesthetic of farming to the aesthetic of desire in the marketplace, which was engraved with the traces of urban transformation in the unique space of the street.

The Tusi-granting officials are the general term for the Tusi rulers, and they can be divided into two categories, the Tusi self-signed officials and the officially appointed Tusi officials under the great Tusi. The self-signed officials are subject to the name of the Tusi and do not enjoy the official title of the central dynasty, while the officially appointed officials under the great Tusi are responsible to the great Tusi and are at his disposal. In the event of a conflict between Tusi and the central dynasty, the Tusi officials would become their pawns against the central government, leading to a disorderly administration of the goverance of the central government in the Tusi region. The Ming and Qing dynasties were able to transform the identity of the Tusi into the state identity of the dynasty by educating their officials in Confucianism, strengthening the selection role of their officials, and reshuffling them into the state, the study of which is therefore of great significance in deepening the construction of a sense of Chinese community in the historical period.

During the centuries of Ming and Qing Dynasties, a series of changes took place in western Yunnan due to the state system and local grass-roots governance. Dengchuan Prefecture located in the north of Erhai Lake is very representative. In the early Ming Dynasty, Ashi who the chiefdoms of Dai nationality in Weiyuan prefecture were given the post of magistrate of Deng Chuan for his outstanding service. First, as a non-native, by expanding the marriage network, he not only received the assistance of the chieftain who was from the old haunt, but also received the support of the chieftain of the surrounding ethnic groups and local giants, thus solidified the political ruling foundation in Dengchuan Prefecture. In addition, the early development of western Yunnan and the entry of a large number of Han people in the Ming Dynasty made it very active to build cultural identity based on Confucianism. Through the construction of historical memory, Ashi realized the transformation of cultural identity and strengthened the foundation of cultural domination in western Yunnan. Then, although agriculture was developed in Dengchuan Prefecture, there would be strong seasonality and flooding in planting. Therefore, Dengchuan Prefecture formed an efficient operation system with chieftain as prime minister, and all classes and nationalities cooperated with each other, and strengthened chieftain's position as the core of the local economy. This kind of governance not only has the commonness of the minority areas in southwest China, but also has the characteristics of westem Yunnan itself. Moreover, the combination of local history and genealogical data will help enrich the regional research of local history and grass-roots governance in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

The content of production management in the border of Qing Dynasty was extensive, including agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, fishing, gathering, hunting, mining, building houses, etc., while the main content of production management in the southwest border of Qing Dynasty was mining, agriculture, forestry and fishing. In the southwest border, the people of Qing Dynasty and neighboring countries often had cross-border and did production operations, which easily led to territorial disputes and border disputes. In dealing with cross-border production operations, the Qing government, based on the principle of " border stability and good-neighborliness ", advocated not to encroach on the land of neighboring countries, nor to make concessions, and severely punished its own cross-border personnel, while lenient treatment was given to the neighboring countries' cross-border personnel, with the purpose of good neighborliness and border stability.

The mining of Yunnan copper in Qing Dynasty was conducted by imperial government, but the realization of its goal is based on the management of mining enterprises. These mining enterprises have the general characteristics of enterprises, but also have the special nature of Yunnan copper development and the time mark of “earthbound China”. In terms of property right relations, these mining enterprises not only have the internal property right structure with clear rights and responsibilities, but also have the external property right boundary to avoid disputes. In terms of management structure, the core is the “seven-chief system” under the “dual leadership” of the on-site officials and the mine investors, where there is both division of labor and collaboration, but it is strict in "personnel management" and neglects "technological innovation". In terms of cultural bond, “guild hall” is helpful to raise capital, recruit labor, strengthen factory regulations and restrain the factory crowd, but it also tends to produce the narrowness of “circle culture”.
