The production of knowledge in rural social work in China is facing the dilemma of adjustment between professional autonomy and local wisdom under the rural revitalization strategy. The current situation of knowledge production in rural social work in China and its differences from Western knowledge production is expounded by constructing a four-dimensional analysis framework of “factor-acceptance-maturity-sustainability”, and using bibliometrics, and then its underlying logic is revealed. The results show that the production of social work knowledge in rural China has formed four core characteristics: policy-oriented, localized integration, multidisciplinary integration, and practice consciousness-oriented; its core topics focus on targeted poverty alleviation, rural revitalization and localization theoretical adjustment, build a three-dimensional system of “theory-practice-policy”, and continue to expand the scale of knowledge production, highlighting the feelings of family and country. However, the field also faces multiple development difficulties: an effective cross-regional collaboration mechanism has not been established, and the research power in the east and west is imbalanced. The core author group is concentrated and mainly middle-aged scholars, and the innovation vitality is insufficient. Chinese and Western resources are unevenly coordinated, and theoretical originality is weak. In the future, it is necessary to strengthen the practical consciousness of rural social work, realize the unity of “proximity” and “whole humanity”, balance policy responsiveness and professional autonomy, and promote the deep integration of technical governance and humanistic care, so as to build an independent knowledge system of rural social work in China.

Localization is fundamental to the development of social work education in China, with teaching practice playing a central role. The focus of localization efforts should be on building a knowledge system rooted in Chinese discourse, particularly through emphasizing the value-based nature of social work. It is essential to fully integrate Socialist Core Values into the construction of a distinctively Chinese value system for social work education. An interdisciplinary model for curriculum transformation is proposed by drawing on phenomenon-based learning approaches. The “Social Work Values and Ethics” course are enchanced through ideological and pedagogical innovation by incorporating elements from practical experience in Chinese social work, traditional cultural values, and globally shared social work principles. This curriculum development is designed to cultivate a new generation of social work professionals equipped with localized ethical grounding. Furthermore, this practice-oriented reform encourages critical reflection on the formation of a contextualized value system and corresponding ethical guidelines, contributing to the high-quality development of social work education in the new era.

With the acceleration of urbanization, a large number of young and middle-aged rural laborers have flocked to cities, leading to an increase in the number of left-behind elderly people in rural areas. These left-behind elderly people face multiple problems such as economic support and daily care, monotonous lives, and a lack of family atmosphere, resulting in their lack of emotional needs. The emotional needs of rural elderly people are studied from the perspective of the interactive ritual chains, by the methods of action research and field interviews combined with the practical experience of social work services for rural left-behind elderly people. The results show that social work services carried out from the perspective of the interactive ritual chain can help the elderly increase the emotional energy, strengthen their common symbolic identification, meet the emotional needs of rural left-behind elderly people, and enhance their sense of happiness.

The going global of online literature is fundamentally a dual going-global in both content and form as a cultural transmission. The dissemination of Chinese web literature in Southeast Asia has achieved notable success, yet it is still faced multiple challenges, including cultural discount, localization adaptation, and ideological conflicts. this analyzes The power dynamics and meaning-reproduction mechanisms in the process of Chinese web literature’s dissemination in Southeast Asia are studied systematically from three dimensions—cultural power, discursive power, and ideological contestation—by adopting the theoretical framework of “reader’s gaze-power restructuring.” Optimized strategies for cross-cultural communication are proposed, aiming to facilitate cultural power negotiation and meaning-sharing through narrative adjustments, innovative dissemination pathways, and discourse system reconstruction. Ultimately, the goal is to enhance cultural identity and sustainable development of Chinese web literature in Southeast Asia.

In September 2022, the British National Library collected 16 Chinese online literary works for the first time. These works successfully presented a beautiful and admirable image of China by “telling Chinese stories”. The core of the “Chinese Story” includes four aspects. Firstly,it is committed to building an excellent traditional Chinese ethical and moral system mainly embodied in the construction of an ideal social and family system formed by absorbing China's excellent traditional ideological culture. Secondly, the works express sincere and pure emotions such as family love, ultimately sublimating into the common emotions of humanity, and extols the spirit of perseverance, unyielding determination, and unrepentant struggle, as well as the heroic spirit. Thirdly, China's excellent traditional culture shold be promoted and Chinese stories are narrateed through representative traditional cultural carriers such as traditional techniques, crafts, and cuisine, and showcase the enduring charm of Chinese traditional culture across time. Lastly, we should inherit and carry forward the narrative and expression methods of Chinese classical literature, allowing the excellent literary and artistic techniques from classical literature to continue to shine in the new era.

Online literature, with its avant-garde cultural traits, is highly favored in the current IP domain. During the process of medium form transformation, the creative practice of cross-media narrative and aesthetic reconstruction of the text itself constitutes a unique cultural phenomenon and aesthetic practice field. Focusing on the breakthrough of online literature adapted TV series, this study delves into the construction and transformation of its aesthetic paradigm based on the “intertextuality” theory. The research starts from four key dimensions—the intertextual transformation of content themes (traditional/breakthrough), the cross-media reconstruction of narrative methods (genre/reconstruction), the negotiation strategy of thematic demands (fantasy/reality), and the coupling logic of value orientation (entertainment/significance), to analyze the conflict, intersection and innovation mechanism of aesthetic elements in the process of online literature's film and television adaptation. The aim is to clarify that under the new discourse symbols and simulacrum aesthetic paradigm generated in the electronic media era, the adaptation of online literature into TV series through effective cross-media “translation” practice not only achieves mutual benefit and win-win between literary and film and television texts, but also seeks and achieves a dynamic balance and complementary coexistence between commercial and entertainment demands and the seriousness and profundity of literature. The research shows that under the dual influence of mainstream cultural value guidance and industry aesthetic filtering, successful adaptation practices are gradually pointing towards the construction goal of “super symbols”, and its future development has significant strategic significance for enhancing the country's cultural soft power.

Xianxia and fantasy-themed online novels, significant component of Chinese online literature, possess considerable literary and artistic value. The novels blend elements of ancient Chinese culture with xianxia (immortal cultivation) and fantasy themes, featuring a strong ancient-style aesthetic. The extensive use of mythological, xianxia, and legendary vocabulary, along with the incorporation of classical language and sentence structures, endows these novels with a rich ancient-style discourse style. By embedding a certain quantity of classical terms, idioms, ancient poetry, and specialized nouns from myths and xianxia lore into modern Chinese sentences in various forms and proportions, these novels not only create an ancient-style effect but also enhance readability for contemporary online readers. This achieves a balance between ancient-style aesthetics and readability, resulting in the interpenetration and fusion of classical and modern styles, thereby constructing a novel form of ancient-style discourse. Through an analysis of the infusion of ancient-style discourse elements, the new ancient-style discourse structural forms, structural types, pragmatic effects, and formation causes, a new ancient-style discourse system for xianxia and fantasy-themed online novels is constructed.

As an important growth pole of regional economic development, the talent introduction policy is a strategic choice for the industrial transformation and upgrading of provincial sub-central cities and the strengthening of core competitiveness, and an important guide to achieve high-quality economic development. Fifteen sample cities were quantitatively evaluated by taking 83 talent introduction policies issued by provincial sub-central cities as the research object, the text mining of the policies was carried out by using the Weword Cloud software, and the PMC index model of talent introduction policies in provincial sub-central cities was constructed. The results show that the overall performance of talent introduction policy is above the level of “good”, but there are still problems in talent management, talent evaluation, policy nature, etc. Therefore, the measures such as giving full play to the advantageous areas, making up for the weak areas, and constructing a talent demand-oriented forecasting system are proposed to provide direction and basis for the improvement and precise fine-tuning of the follow-up policies for the introduction of talents in provincial sub-central cities.

Talent policies play a dual role in attracting and retaining talent , serving as a new driving force for the development of sub-provincial central cities . Over the past decade, Qujing City has refined its talent policies , improving talent development platforms and the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem , achieving notable results in both talent recruitment and cultivation . However, the coding analysis of talent policy texts revealed that supply-type and environment-type policy tools are used relatively fully, while demand-type policy tools such as service outsourcing and establishing overseas talent institutions are used insufficiently. Therefore, the coding analysis of 23 talent policy texts was conducted by using NVivo 20 software from the perspective of policy text measurement. Suggestions in five aspects were put forward, aiming at the existing problems, with the expectation of providing a reference for the further optimization of the talent policies in Qujing City by combining the application situation and evolutionary characteristics of policy tools.

Provincial sub-central cities undertake some transferred functions from provincial capital cities, promoting the flow of factors to surrounding areas, and thus forming interdependent positive interactions with neighboring areas through division of labor and collaboration. Local universities serve as the source of knowledge, technology, and talent in their regions, providing crucial support for the development of new productive forces in provincial sub-central cities, and boosting regional economic development and industrial transformation and upgrading. The coordinated development of local universities and new productive forces in provincial sub-central cities exhibits logical coupling at the starting point, route, and endpoint. "Five pairs" of relationships--the symbiotic relationship between urban development and university development, the integration relationship between industrial development and educational development, the dependent relationship between human development and productive forces development, the matching relationship between transformation needs and technological empowerment, and the accompanying relationship between inheritance and innovation, should be properly handled.

As a fundamental institution, the land system has always been a concentrated reflection of a country’s basic economic and political systems in terms of the means of production. The policies of the Communist Party of China (CPC) regarding the land system have continuously evolved in response to social development and changes in the principal contradictions, establishing a land system that aligns with economic and social progress and has driven economic and social development. Land system reform cannot proceed without sound legal and policy support. This paper analyzes the legal framework of China’s rural land contract management rights from both legislative and judicial perspectives, aiming to provide insights and models for addressing land-related legal issues in the process of rural revitalization.

The people's jury system is an important part of practicing whole-process people's democracy in the judicial field and its value must be fully exerted. Through the history of the operation of the jury system in the United Kingdom, the United States, France, and Russia, it can be found that judges, as one of the institutional practitioners of the jury system, exert a huge influence on the practical effect of the jury system, positively or negatively. The studying of judges’ roles in the operation of the jury system can lead to the following inspirations: the model of the jury system must be in line with the folk customs, and political and legal demand of a country must be supported by judges. Fully exploring the current value of the jury system may achieve a win-win situation of judicial and political values through judicial deliberative democracy and win the support of judges. Through a series of measures, judges are encouraged to support the jury system in playing its role, truly achieving a mutual pursuit and mutual enhancement of the judicial and political values of the jury system.

With the rapid development of generative artificial intelligence technology, the infringement issues arising from the use of copyright-protected works in its data training process have become a focal point. The typical domestic and international cases are studied from three aspects: determination of fair use, principle of imputation, and assumption of responsibility. In terms of fair use, relevant cases in China have not involved the determination of the use of works for large model training, while US courts have shifted from supporting the “intermediate reproduction” as constituting fair use to determining infringement. In terms of principle of imputation, considering the universality of data, technical complexity, and the need to encourage innovation, the principle of fault liability should be adopted to avoid excessively burdening technology development. In terms of assumption of responsibility, platforms in data training scenarios can be broadly interpreted as new types of “network service providers”, and the “safe harbor principle” can be analogically applied. Infringement can be determined through the “substantive similarity + likelihood of contact” standard and algorithm comparison technology, while referencing current mainstream theories from various countries, aiming to provide reference for the improvement of relevant legal regulations and industrial development.

The proposal of free preschool education policy marks the transition of China's public early childhood education service system from universal access and affordability toward tuition-free provision. This study applies the Multiple Streams Theory to analyze the policy formation process of free preschool education. The results reveal that, (1) the Problem Stream emerged from developmental metrics indicating the universal and inclusive development of preschool education, socially salient focusing events, and feedback from administrative interventions; (2) the Policy Stream materialized through persistent advocacy by National People's Congress deputies and Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference members, research-driven contributions from experts, and local pilot initiatives; and (3) the Political Stream crystallized through policy directives from Party and state leaders, the governance philosophy of building a fertility-friendly society, and public sentiment demanding that children receive proper care and optimal early childhood education. The dynamic integration and profound coupling of these three streams converged to open the policy window for free preschool education. Future policy implementation should activate each stream's distinctive functions while leveraging their synergistic momentum, adhere to principles of equity and quality, address challenges in pluralistic service provision, and sustain policy advancement, ultimately establishing a new paradigm of high-quality balanced development in early childhood education.

The reform of practical teaching in China's medical higher vocational colleges is studied by refering to Germany's “dual system” vocational education model through a questionnaire among 1,707 teachers and students from medical higher vocational colleges across 18 provinces (municipalities) nationwide. The results reveal four major issues in practical teaching at domestic medical higher vocational colleges: restricted faculty development; rigid practical teaching models; outdated textbook reforms with delayed updates; and uneven allocation of teaching resources. Optimized pathways at four dimensions are proposed: empowering teaching faculty development and talent cultivation; reconstructing a virtuous practical teaching system; establishing a three-dimensional dynamic textbook renewal ecosystem; and implementing equipment modernization and resource-sharing mechanisms. The study aims to provide theoretical references and practical guidance for the reform of practical teaching in China's medical higher vocational colleges, facilitate the cultivation of high-quality medical skilled talents meeting primary healthcare needs, promote high-quality development of medical vocational education, achieve precise alignment between vocational education and the primary healthcare sector, and ultimately enhance the service capacity of China's primary healthcare system.
