Abstract: During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, children's literature and art became an integral part of the national resistance literary and artistic front and a key link in social mobilization. Driven by a sense of social responsibility and national ideals, writers and artists created a wide variety of “wartime” works with distinct themes for children of that era. Beyond meeting children's needs, promoting educational concepts, and strengthening their care, these works aspired to cultivate a new generation capable of securing victory in the War of Resistance. These works and their creative process constitute a shared treasure of China's century-long children's cause and literary and artistic undertakings. They fulfilled the mission entrusted by the times during the war and continue to provide valuable references for the spiritual guidance of contemporary children's literature and art, as well as the effective practice of literary and artistic media.
