Abstract: During the Long March of the Red Army, LongYun’s attitude of anti-communist was very resolute, the Red First Army and Red Second and Sixth army entered the territory of Yunnan. LongYun, whose performance was not only praised by Chiang Kai-shek and XueYue, but also another local armies, intended to wipe out the Red Army. On the other hand, since the local Yunnan Army caused great casualtieson to the Red Army, the CPC Central Committee of the Red Army at the same time set the local Yunnan Army as the key targets for attack.The event of “LongYun’s Offering the Map”, if put into the broad historical context to be examined, was fabricated. In fact, Long did not offer the map, but the map was grabbed by the Red Army .
