New Liberal Arts and Reform of Language and Literature Pedagogy Courses at Normal University

Abstract: The construction of the “new liberal arts” has put forward new requirements for training Chinese language and literature teacher major. Language teachers in the new era should have good humanistic qualities and personality connotations, and demonstrate their professional abilities in Chinese language and literature in the rapid development of science and technology, information and social, and cultural adaptability. A new landscape for the cultivation of new humanities talents for Chinese language and literature teacher training programs can be established by reforming language pedagogy courses, changing the concept of the curriculum, improving the curriculum system, strengthening classroom teaching, innovating teaching forms with increasing practical efforts, and improving course evaluation and other measures.
