Abstract: Film and television language symbols are kind of narrative symbol with visual persuasion function and high recognition. It forms visual identification through the presentation of images and scenes, guides and influences cognition, and then shapes deep-seated value concepts. As an important factor influencing the formation of the subject's values and the construction of national identity, the act of film and television communication plays an important role that cannot be ignored. National cognition belongs to the category of political communication, which is highly abstract and a macroscopic and huge theoretical system. Film and television language communication is based on the perspective of art, using ‘depoliticized’ images with aesthetic meaning to interpret politics.
