The subjectivity of Chinese culture refers to the conscious awareness, confidence, and initiative of the Chinese nation and its people engaging with Chinese culture. The formation of the subjectivity of Chinese culture is the result of multiple factors working together. The formation of the subjectivity is rooted in the historical accumulation of China’s five-thousand-year civilization, awakened by the profound impact of the modern national crisis, developed through the cultural practices led by the Communist Party of China, and ultimately consolidated in the cultural identity of the people. In the new era, strengthening cultural subjectivity holds significant importance, helping individuals recognize themselves amidst the waves of globalization, reinforce national unity, cultivate cultural confidence in the new era, and thereby promote the in-depth advancement of China-style modernization and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Grasping the direction of cultural leadership and construction, promoting the inheritance and innovative development of culture, and establishing a system of cultural interaction and integration will consolidate the subjectivity of Chinese culture. A profound analysis of the formation logic, value significance, and practical pathways of Chinese cultural subjectivity can aid in steering the direction and innovating methods in cultural construction in the new era, effectively enhancing the spiritual appeal, cultural cohesion, value convergence, and contemporary influence of Chinese culture.

In the new era, forging the sense of community for the Chinese nation should be based on the authentic connotations of this consciousness and its essential relationship with culture. Forging the sense of community for the Chinese nation is to deepen the cultural foundation and enhance emotional and practical identification. The cultural path to forging this consciousness requires following the logic of “carrying the Way through culture”,“conveying emotions through culture”, and “educating through culture”. This involves elucidating the“truth”,“principle”,and “reason” practical logic of forging this consciousness, promoting the generation and sublimation of emotions, and advancing the construction of the Chinese nation community through cultural inheritance, experience, and innovation.

The Red family tradition is a precious spiritual treasure forged by the Communist Party of China (CPC) over its century-long struggle, and a product of the profound integration of Marxism with fine traditional Chinese culture and revolutionary practice. Taking the people as its foundation, the Red family tradition displays the distinctive features of “the unity of family and nation, firm faith, selfless dedication, integrity and incorruptibility, hard work and plain living, and upholding virtue and pursuing goodness.” With exemplary role models at its core, it ripples out across the whole society, subtly guiding social groups to establish correct outlooks on life and values, thereby fostering a strong atmosphere of consciously inheriting red genes and maintaining social stability. The inheritance and evolution of the Red family tradition has generally undergone a historical progression involving “teaching by precept and example during the period of the New Democratic Revolution,” “institutional norms during the period of Socialist Revolution and Construction,” “diversified communication during the new period of Reform and Opening-up and Socialist Modernization,” and “systematic construction in the New Era of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics,” reflecting its autonomous adaptation and gradual improvement across different historical periods. In the context of the new era, the inheritance and innovation of the Red family tradition should be grounded in the CPC’s century-long history of struggle; theoretical research should be further deepened, communication mechanisms innovated, and the education system improved, so that it continuously radiates its contemporary vitality on the new journey toward the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

During the late Qing and early Republic periods, in response to a profound national crisis, Chinese intellectuals initiated proactive efforts to translate and introduce science fiction from the West and Japan. This endeavor was not merely a literary introduction but a cultural practice aimed at “national salvation” and “enlightenment”. This paper analyzes the impact of global science fiction development on China and identifies the inadequacies within indigenous fantastical traditions regarding scientific rationality, thereby revealing the dual impetus behind these translation and introduction activities. From four dimensions knowledge medium, political vehicle, cultural entertainment, and formal experiment — this paper systematically examines the multifaceted nature of science fiction translation and introduction during this period. It functioned as popular literature for disseminating basic scientific knowledge, an ideological tool for advocating “national salvation through science,” a means to satisfy the public's taste for the exotic and the curious, and a catalyst for the modern transformation of Chinese literary forms. The translation and introduction of science fiction during the late Qing and early Republic periods had a profound impact. It not only promoted the dissemination of scientific concepts and inspired aspirations for national strength at the time but, more importantly, laid the generic foundation for Chinese science fiction literature. Through its unique practice of translational modernity, it provided valuable intellectual resources and methodological insights for exploring pathways to China's modernization.

Online literature has achieved remarkable success in Yunnan. Integrating these high-quality works with Southeast Asian culture aligns perfectly with the strategic goal of positioning Yunnan as a radiation center for South and Southeast Asia drives the digital transformation of Yunnan's cultural industry. From a content dissemination perspective, “Chinese stories” blending Chinese culture with Southeast Asian elements are the most promising for regional export. For example, Zhou Zhou's science fiction novel The Sea Hunter's Log from Yunnan is a genre-blending work that combines oceanic sci-fi, adventure, and puzzle-solving, chronicling the history of China's Maritime Silk Road and the customs, folkways, and maritime culture of South and Southeast Asian countries along the route under Chinese cultural influence. Both in content and narrative technique, this work is well-suited for dissemination in Southeast Asia. Efforts are needed in building partnerships with local cultural companies, assembling translation teams for Southeast Asian languages, conducting precise market research, and achieving diversified IP dissemination to effectively promote Yunnan's online literature in Southeast Asia, thereby constructing a dedicated overseas dissemination pathway for Yunnan's online literature.

Film and television language symbols are kind of narrative symbol with visual persuasion function and high recognition. It forms visual identification through the presentation of images and scenes, guides and influences cognition, and then shapes deep-seated value concepts. As an important factor influencing the formation of the subject's values and the construction of national identity, the act of film and television communication plays an important role that cannot be ignored. National cognition belongs to the category of political communication, which is highly abstract and a macroscopic and huge theoretical system. Film and television language communication is based on the perspective of art, using ‘depoliticized’ images with aesthetic meaning to interpret politics. The interaction generated by the ritual atmosphere created by the strong narrative and sense of immersion deepens the acceptance of semantics, thus helping the audience to establish a correct view of history, politics and culture, and generating a positive influence.

Edward Hopper, a pivotal figure in 20th-century American realist painting, reveals the alienation between the individual and the urban landscape in his works in American society at the time, as well as the dislocation in the relationship between humanity and nature during rapid industrialization. While objectively depicting real scenes,Hopper keenly captured the pervasive unease and loneliness experienced by people in the process of urbanization. The dimensions of subject selection, light and shadow treatment, and color use in Hopper's works are analyzed to explore the feelings of melancholy, solitude, and alienation embedded in his paintings, aiming to uncover the internal logic of the artist's emotional expression, further understand the deep connection between emotion and visual language, and provide valuable insights and references for contemporary artistic creation.

Personal data is the cornerstone of data classification and rights confirmation. Layered rights confirmation matters because it seeks to balance data circulation and privacy protection—a concern that directly involves digital dignity, informational self-determination, and a sustainable digital ecosystem. Traditional mechanisms, with their absolutized ownership or rigid authorization, cannot adapt to the dynamic rights relationships in cross-scenario data flows, often leaving data monopoly and privacy leakage entrenched together. To address this, we propose a criss-cross, grid-like mechanism structured around three dimensions: scenario types (purely personal data, personal data fused with enterprise data, and personal data interacting with public data), data forms (raw data, derivative data, data products), and a rights bundle (the right to hold data resources, the right to process and use data, and the right to operate data products). Integrating these dimensions yields an architecture that is horizontally adaptive to scenarios and vertically layered—namely, horizontal scenario adaptation with vertical layered rights confirmation.

Rural agritourism struggles to reach a wider audience through major self-media channels due to its small scale and limited resources. It must rely on effective collaboration between local official media and self-media to get its message across. Yet such collaboration is often lacking, resulting in poor communication outcomes. This study looks at Tuguachong Village in Qujing City, Yunnan Province, as a case in point. Based on semi-structured interviews with three groups—official media operators, self-media creators, and tourists—the study identifies three persistent problems: the controlling mindset of official media clashes with the passive attitude of self-media; self-media content tends to be distorted while official media content remains too generic; and there is no lightweight or regular mechanism to connect the two sides. To address these issues, the study proposes a threedimensional framework (subject, content, channel) and a collaborative pathway. The pathway is built on what official media can do in terms of empowerment and quality assurance, what self-media do best in scenariobased traffic generation, and how tourists can be involved in value cocreation to expand communication channels. The result is a practical, easytoapply, and locally grounded solution for rural agritourism to make better use of local media resources and improve communication outcomes, thereby supporting practical innovation in rural revitalization on the communication front.

The summer resort tourism market has become a current research hotspot in tourism studies. The summer resort and residence functions of Qujing City by integrating multi-source information systems, including user-generated content (UGC), questionnaire surveys, and Baidu migration data, heve been analyzed to reveal several deficiencies in the summer resort and residence functions of Qujing City, such as a single tourist demographic structure, insufficient tourism experience and residential functions, a lack of leisure and entertainment functions, and an insignificant urban brand effect. Accordingly, Qujing City needs to construct an urban resort and residence function system consisting of 5 major categories and 10 subcategories to develop summer resort and residence tourism. The advantages should be leveraged in summer resort and residence by optimizing the tourist demographic structure, upgrading supporting facilities, strengthening digital marketing, and deeply integrating culture and tourism, so as to optimize its summer resort and residence functions and promote the industrial transformation and upgrading of Qujing City.

Teacher training in frontier townships has long been plagued by the mismatch between external resources and local conditions, as well as the limited training capacity of central schools. Based on field research conducted in six schools across three counties in Yunnan Province, this study employs grounded theory to construct a model of an endogenous training system. The study found that the current characteristics of exogenous supply—namely, a focus on external training, county-level dominance, and the separation of research and training—combined with the triple challenges faced by townships—physical constraints, psychological imbalance, and institutional gaps—have collectively led to the dilemma of “external training leading to internal waste.” The key to restructuring the system lies in the synergistic integration of two pathways: “institutional embedding” and “ecological adaptation.” This is achieved by providing safeguards through institutional designs for “training governance” and by grounding the system in local contexts through the localization of “system elements” and the flexible design of “operational mechanisms.” Consequently, township central schools can transform from passive end-users into active governance hubs, and teachers can evolve from trainees into reflective practitioners and knowledge creators. This model provides a theoretical framework and practical direction for resolving the challenges of teacher training in frontier regions and improving the support system for rural teacher development.

The construction of a rural teacher team, a process of long-term, sustainable, and synergistic effort, is an inevitable demand and key force for rural education to the high-quality development. Based on the implementation of the Rural Teacher Support Plan in Yunnan Province and Diqing Prefecture in Yunnan Province, the implementation of the Rural Teacher Support Plan was implemented and investigated. The implementation of the Rural Teacher Support Plan policy has achieved good results: continuous improvement of rural teachers' income, stable team building, occupations, and occupations. The ability to improve the capacity is largely promoted to the development of rural education. However, the construction of rural teachers still has shortcomings: insufficient joint force of the construction of rural teacher teams, insufficient gravity of the teachers and universities in the construction of rural teachers, and prominen obstacles of policy implementation. The implementation of the Rural Teacher Support Plan can be continuously consolidated by strengthening the construction of rural teachers, effectively connecting policies of basic education, high-quality education development action plan, aesthetic infiltration plan, and panels and effective results.

The professional development of teachers at frontier primary and secondary schools is crucial to the realization of educational equity and the long-term stability of frontier societies. These teachers’ professional development of is a complex ecological process, forming an ecosystem divided into three systems: micro, meso, and macro. These three systems are interconnected, with ecological factors interacting and system coupling giving rise to an ecological system for teacher’s professional development. The study finds that multiple intertwined factors collectively constitute the “realistic constraints” hindering the professional growth of frontier primary and secondary school teachers.Four ecological principles are proposed based on this—ecological holism, active empowerment, localized adaptation, and collaborative symbiosis—to promote coordinated efforts in institutional optimization, university engagement, training reengineering, resource mobility, and technological empowerment. This approach seeks to explore and construct a teacher professional development support system tailored to the unique frontier context, thereby fostering the symbiotic development of individual teachers and frontier education.
