Abstract: Border areas have always been an important area for united front work, based on the background of the era of “two big situations”. A deep understanding and grasp of the characteristics of the united front work and improvement of the pattern of the united front work is an important content and strategic plan for the united front work in the new era. The process of promoting the modernization of border governance requires the construction of a perfect pattern of united front work, and a perfect pattern of united front work can give full play to the role of the united front as a powerful magic weapon, effectively solve the problems of border governance, and play an important role in promoting the development of the border to enrich the people to stabilize and consolidate the border and national unity. The construction of the pattern of united front work is conducive to promoting the political identity of all ethnic groups in the border areas, enhancing the integration of political resources in the border areas, creating an excellent political environment, and casting a firm sense of the Chinese national community.
