The Educational Narrative Strategy for the Inheritance of Traditional Wushu Skills on Campus

Abstract: The traditional Wushu exercise is the crystallization of the practical experience of Wushu training blending the theory of traditional Chinese medicine and the essence of Chinese traditional culture. The traditional wushu has a profound understanding of human life and health rules and can serve the health of young students and the campus inheritance and innovation of Chinese outstanding traditional culture.Traditional Wushu skill movement education narrative is a kind of education and teaching method that can better meet students' needs of traditional wushu skill and law practice. Its educational narrative strategy is worth further exploration. Combining with the characteristics of traditional wushu skill and law education narrative, the strategy can be explained from material collection, perspective expansion, and value embodiment. In terms of material collection, we should fully explore the narrative resources of traditional skills education, focus on the system of Wushu based on the spiritual cultural foundation, and attach importance to embodied narrative experience. In terms of perspective expansion, we should connect the narration of traditional wushu skills education with multidisciplinary theories, absorbing health education theory, sports training theory, and sports nutrition theory. In terms of value embodiment, traditional wushu education narrative can be used in school quality education to guide students' physical training, promote students' physical health, and serve school moral education practice.
