AContrastive Analysis of Semantics of Five Sense Words in Uyghur Chinese Language from the Perspective of Language Typology

Abstract: As an important part of the vocabulary system, body part words have the same or similar meanings in different languages. Chinese and Uyghur belong to two languages of different families and types, and there are great differences between them. However, from the perspective of language typology, words expressing human parts in different types of languages have different degrees of commonness and individuality in meaning expression. This paper compares and analyzes the meanings of facial features in Uyghur Chinese language, so as to find out the commonness and individuality of the meanings of facial features in the two languages.
