Study of Risk Prevention and Emergency Management of Mountain Marathon Sports Events in China: A Case Study of Gansu Cross-country Race Incident

Abstract: The practical dilemma of mountain marathon sports event risks in China are studied by using literature research method,qualitative analysis method,and expert interview method under the background of Gansu cross- country race emergencies to sort out the relevant problems restricting the risk emergency management of sports events and proposed effective risk prevention and response strategies.The result shows that the rights and interests of stakeholders can be safeguarded and ensured with the smooth progress of mountain marathon sports by enhancing the awareness of risk prevention,building sports emergency system,improving the access mechanism,and further implementing the sports event risk assessment strategy to improve the level of mountain marathon sports risk prevention and emergency management.
