Construction of Practical Teaching Platform of “Master Many Skills While Specializing in One” for Geographical Science

Abstract: Under the dual background of application transformation and action plan for revitalizing teacher education, strengthening the construction of practical teaching platform is an important measure to promote the transformation of Geographical Science in local universities.This paper aims to cultivate compound talents of “master many skills while specializing in one”, pay attention to the integration of students’ innovative thinking ability and practical application ability. We built a practical teaching content system of“master many skills while specializing in one” for Geographical Science from the campus platforms, off campus platforms and auxiliary platforms,carried out construction path of teaching system leading, combination of software and hardware teaching platforms,teaching case support and teaching demonstration and promotion.This research provides new ideas for promoting practical teaching and improving the quality of personnel training for Geographical Science in Local Universities.
