Introduction to Chinese Extensive Reading in Middle School ——Take Lu Xun's Works as an Example

Abstract: Extensive reading of Chinese in middle schools is of great significance to basic Chinese teaching, is a clear requirement of the new curriculum standard, and is also the direction of Chinese reform in middle schools. Mr. Lu Xun's works occupy a large proportion in Chinese texts of middle schools. His works have far-reaching significance for basic Chinese education. Taking texts as the center, Lu Xun's works are extensively read from novels, proses, essays, prose poems and other subjects. When choosing extensively read items, Educator should insist on being related to the theme, background cognition and content. Through the extensive reading of Lu Xun's works, we can realize the reading and cognitive requirements of curriculum standards.
