Abstract: Since the 21st century, although the enrollment expansion of colleges and universities in our country has brought the rapid development opportunities for colleges and universities, the rapid increase of the number of students brings about a variety of student management problems, which brings great challenges to the management of student affairs. Under the new situation, student affairs management in colleges and universities has put forward higher requirements. The traditional management concepts and management models can no longer meet the new requirements. The text analyzes the current situation of college and universities student affairs management in our country, the causes of the problems and the challenges they face, and discusses the optimization strategies of student affairs management.
