An Analysis of the Cultural Consumption Spatial Differences Between Urban and Rural Residents in Qujing

Abstract: In recent years, with the increase of disposable income and leisure time, cultural consumption has been playing a more and more important role in people's life. With Qujing city being the study area, this paper analyzes the situation of cultural consumption in the past ten years in three aspects, namely the cultural consumption differences between urban and rural areas, the cultural consumption differences of urban areas in counties and its dominance in counties. This study points out the causes of the current low cultural consumption level and put forward measures to decrease the cultural consumption difference between urban and rural residents in Qujing.
