Abstract: Yunnan, located in the southwestern border of China, is one of the most important cradles of human civilization. There are a lot of humanity historical sites in Yunnan. With the rapid development of marketization and urbanization, the rational development and effective protection of human historical sites have aroused high concern in the government and academic circles. However, problems remain in the research on the development and conservation of the historical sites of human history, such as too centralized research subjects, single research method, narrowed research perspective, insufficient empirical support and so on. Therefore, to meet the realistic demand of social development, effort should be made to promote the development and protection of human historical sites.
