Transformation and Development of Newly-built universities’ Teacher Education in Yunnan Province

Abstract: Newly-built university’s teacher education has finished elementary transformation in Yunnan province. But these are some problems, such as poor quality on teacher education, and Teacher education discipline’s marginalization. At present, we should speed up deep teacher education transformation that is focus on improving quality. Thus we must take some effective measure, that is to make improving the quality of teacher education as the pursuit, to build an independent institution of Teacher Education and teacher education research institutes, to rely on Yunnan teacher education alliances to develop teacher education curriculum, to build teacher education characteristics, to attach to important on teachers' professional development and to strength students’ specialized ability.
