Abstract: “Kunming Jialize Plateau Sports Town” is a town developed according to the national characteristic town. It is a sports and leisure town with successful experience. Its construction experience is important for the development of sports and leisure towns in trouble. The Sports industry expert interview method and case analysis method are used to analyze the changes of the town, in order to provide successful practical experience for the characteristic towns in the development process, and promote the construction of new urbanization and sports leisure towns in China. This study found that natural endowment is the foundation of sports and leisure towns, and is a solid foundation for attracting high-quality capital injection and leading enterprises in the sports industry; high-quality capital enterprises provide sufficient construction funds for small towns, leading sports leading enterprises The direction of the development of the town; high-end sports can guarantee the characteristics of the town, avoid homogenization competition, and attract “elite residents” for the town, become an important internal cause of the revitalization of the town; competitive sports training bases and sports events with international standards The brand of the town can be upgraded, and the mass sports program can attract more people to the town. It is an important path for the town to build a sports complex from high-end sports to the public.
