Abstract: Under the guidance of diachronical and synchronical anthropological methodology for culture investigation, this thesis researches by documentation and field investigation the commonly accepted Chuan ethical culture when Chuan people were ruling Nanzhong. It is found that Chuan ethical culture derived from productive labour, tribal wars, religious edification, as well as politics rules, developed in contradiction with the ancient environment, and was well integrated with the essence of Chinese traditional culture.
