Abstract: Alice Munro enjoys world-known reputation for her short stories, in which she applies her unique narrative strategy that have resulted from her experiences in creating literary works and、her keen insight into the life. Dear Life, a collection of her short stories, exemplifies Munro’s narrative art in that with non-linear sequence and reminiscence focalization the stories are developed a changeable and complex way, thus providing the readers with extraordinary reading experience.
