Abstract: Based on the concepts of gender equality, gender growth, gender interaction and gender harmony, the social work for women with Chinese characteristics should not only reflect the ontological, epistemological, methodological, gnoseological, axiological, and practical connotations of the academic system, but also necessarily establishes a system of disciplinary objects and goals, disciplinary attributes and scopes, disciplinary origins and history, disciplinary theories and knowledge, disciplinary curricula and teaching, disciplinary organization and evaluation within the disciplinary system. Moreover, it is essential to improve the relevant policy discourse, academic discourse, disciplinary discourse, public discourse, practical discourse and international discourse systems. In the future, the women's social work system with Chinese characteristics needs to continuously deepen and expand new issues, new concepts, and new fields in women's social work.
