The Integrated Service Model of Elderly Care and Childcare from the Perspective of Collaborative Governance

Abstract: With the acceleration of China's aging process, the demand for elderly care services is diversifying and complex. At the same time, affected by the decline in fertility intentions, the number of newborns has decreased, and kindergartens in some areas have insufficient students or even closed down, resulting in idle public service resources. Based on the theory of collaborative governance, the problems of insufficient policy support, uneven service quality, lack of social cognition, and single service model in the operation practice of its integrated elderly care services are analyzed to constructs a collaborative framework for the integrated service of elderly care and childcare by taking J community in N city as an example.
