Optimal Path of Social Work Professional Training under the Background of New Liberal Arts

Abstract: With the rapid development of high-tech and social transformation and rapid development, human society is faced with many new social problems and challenges. The development and progress of society need liberal arts education to cultivate new talents. The idea of new liberal arts construction points out the direction for the development of liberal arts education in China. The “new” of new liberal arts is mainly reflected in the new era background, new research object, new research paradigm, new talent training mode, and the return of humanistic spirit.The social work specialty is characterized by practicality and application. Under the background of the new liberal arts construction, reflection on the traditional talent training mode of social work education is of great significance, which needs a new target orientation. The optimal path of social work talent training needs to adhere to the social needs as the guide, take the students as the center, and give play to their initiative and creativity. We should persist in focusing on professional integration and establish new discipline training standards. It is also necessary to adhere to the participation of multiple subjects in personnel training, and cultivate social work professionals in different levels and categories to achieve high-quality development of social work professionals training.
