Abstract: At the end of the 20th century, exclusion has become one of the biggest challenges in the global society. Seeking cohesion and calling for social unity has become a strong appeal for a multi-ethnic country. Citizenship solidarity education research has shown great vitality and development potential. Based on the English literature in the last decade from the core collection of Web of Science database, and combined with Histcite and Citespace document metrology software, the paper analyzed the distribution characteristics of literature quantity, discipline distribution, country and region, scientific research institutions, core authors and journal sources of literature research on citizenship solidarity education. This paper describes the knowledge picture of citizenship solidarity education research, and finds that the research hotspots in this field focus on four aspects: basic category discussion, teacher team focus, multiple research objects and case study orientation. It has the knowledge base of integrating learning science, educational management, new technology application and other multidisciplinary research. From the perspective of the future development trend, citizenship solidarity education based on new technologies will attract much attention, cultivating qualified digital citizens in the information age becomes a new research direction, and promoting sustainable development of human and society becomes the ultimate purport of citizenship solidarity education research.
