Abstract: Rural revitalization and high-quality development is a strategic choice and a way to promote common prosperity, and comprehensive common prosperity is the strategic goal and development picture of high-quality rural revitalization. The strategy of rural revitalization was proposed since the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. China has achieved remarkable results in improving the quality of the countryside, but the long-standing shackles of industrial exodus, hollowing out of talents, desertification of cultures, ecological fragmentation, and organizational fragmentation in the rural areas have restrained rural revitalization from transforming into a higher-quality development. Therefore, starting from the strategic height of realizing common wealth, clarifying its connotations, characteristics and strategic goals, and helping promote the realization of a better picture of a “richer countryside, happier life and more beautiful countryside” through the implementation of high-quality and holistic revitalization paths for the countryside in the fields of industry, talents, culture, ecology and organization will continuously promote high-quality rural revitalization. This will help to promote the realization of a better picture of “richer rural areas, happier lives and more beautiful villages”, and facilitate a substantial breakthrough in the strategy of comprehensive common prosperity.
Key words: common prosperity, rural revitalization, high-quality development, agricultural and rural modernization, holistic revitalization
