Pedagogical Function of 'Red Songs' and Pathway of IntroducingThem into Vocal Courses in Music Education

Abstract: As a form of modern Chinese revolutionary culture, "Red Songs" play an extremely important role in the establishment, growth, and revolutionary wars of the Communist Party of China with an irreplaceable historical position in the victory of the Chinese revolution and the development of Chinese socialism. Red Songs can inherit China's excellent traditional culture and values with a strong pedagogical function that effectively nurtures patriotic spirit and social responsibility among Chinese youth. Introducing "Red Songs" into vocal classes in music education provides students with diverse learning and performance opportunities, contributing to the cultivation of their musical literacy and artistic cultivation.
