Abstract: The TOPSIS method was used to evaluate the land use in recent 10 years and the land use benefit from ecological, economic, social, and other aspects. The obstacle degree model was used to find out the obstacle factors restricting the land use benefit, to provide support for sustainable land use in Chengjiang. The results showed that (1) the comprehensive land use benefit and social benefit increased in recent 10 years, with a large increase from 2018 to 2019, the ecological benefits showed a trend of "decreasing first, then increasing and then decreasing", and economic performance has steadily increased; (2) in 2019, the main obstacle factors of Chengjiang were soil erosion treatment area, average sewage discharge, per capita grain output, etc.; and (3) from 2015 to 2019, social benefits were the main factors affecting the improvement of land use efficiency in Chengjiang. In the long run, the ecological benefit will gradually become the main obstacle restricting the improvement of land use benefits.
