Strengths, Constraints and Obstacles: Analysis of Chinese Modernization and Digital Reconfiguration of Global Industrial Chains

Abstract: Digital restructuring and upgrading of industrial chain not only achieve more value creation for business, but also accelerate the change of production mode, promote the improvement of social productivity, and contribute to the well-being of people. With the advantages of entire national system, huge data stock, large market demand scale and partial leading digital technology and application capability, digital restructuring and upgrading of industrial chain has become a feasible path and an important grasp for China to realize Chinese modernization. However, with the accelerated evolution of the world's profound changes unseen in a century, the international obstacles to the digital transformation and upgrading of the industrial chain have gradually emerged. At the same time, the digital technology itself development and application characteristics may also lead to the emergence of a variety of potential internal constraints. In the face of complex realistic conditions, China should adhere to the essential requirements and important principles of Chinese modernization, improve the construction of socialist market economy, break the institutional mechanism obstacles in the process of Chinese modernization; it also need to coordinate development and security, unremittingly promote and expand Chinese-style modernization, and finally realize the historical goal of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
