Abstract: Student Party branches in colleges and universities are the fundamental unit and they play important roles in leading the establishment of foster virtue through education. Under the background of foster virtue through education, it is necessary to adhere to the laws of the Party's grass-roots organization construction, the laws of talent cultivation and student growth, and accurately grasp the political, guiding and practical nurturing functions of the student Party branches in colleges and universities. In order to establish moral education, profound understanding of the objective inevitability of the organization construction of student Party branches in colleges and universities must be reached, the organizational power must be continuously improved , and the political function must be highlighted, the academic practice must be guided and the growth and success of students must be promoted. Efforts should be made to promote the overall progress and excellence of student Party branches, continuously release the efficacy of nurturing people, encourage students to study hard, promote the well-rounded and healthy development of students, and to nurture a new generation of capable young people who will shoulder the mission of national rejuvenation.
