Research on theInheritance and Development of Wa People’s Traditional Costume Ecological Culture from the Perspective of Cultural Ecology Theory

Abstract: The Wa people live in the Wa mountains in the southwest of China. Influenced by their geographical location, natural conditions and social environment, the WA people have created a series of wisdom, experience and technology to deal with the relationship between man and nature in the long-term survival process. Among them, the ecological and cultural phenomenon of the traditional Wa clothing is an important form of expression to deal with the relationship between man and the nature, which embodies rich ecological and cultural resources. National costumes of wa unique traditional ecological technology and ecological concept of man and the nature in harmony culture, and its unique ecological culture connotation. Wa people’s traditional costume has created a strong artistic appeal and expression full of the important value. By using the theory of cultural ecology research framework and methodology, Wa people’s traditional ecological culture phenomena are interpreted to put forward corresponding drive for Wa people’s traditional costume heritage and development with the construction of ecological civilization as the breakthrough point and revitalizing communities in rural culture, which is of the practical significance for the social and economic development in Wa people’s area.
