Abstract: Through literature, field investigations and other research methods, the research on the phenomenon of the "reverse enculturation" of left-foot dance in the Yi people’s ancient town in Chuxiong, Yunnan aims to explore the cause of the phenomenon and its influence on ethnic minority sports tourism in other related cultures. The main findings are: (1) The phenomenon of the reverse enculturation of left-foot dance in the ancient town of Yi people is caused by cultural forces such as realistic conditions and professional burnout, different ages and physical physique tourists' needs for dance form and intensity, and the spread of modern culture; (2) Urbanization has become a new paradigm for ethnic minority sports integration and modern adaptation in the context of the new urbanization construction; (3)It allows the elderly to get more physical and mental exercise and comfort and makes the problem of maintaining national sports culture and innovation increasingly prominent. The corresponding suggestions are: (1) The role of anti-enhancement in the construction of new urbanization should be further expanded; (2) Learn from the anti-enhancement path to practice healthy aging; and (3) A cultural "maintenance and innovation" coordinated ethnic minority sports tourism development model can be constructed based on the anti-enhancement.
