Abstract: At present, the college students' ideological and political education has incomplete positioning and content deviation at the starting point. During the education process, the political position is not high and the implementation is weak. There are problems with the proliferation of formalism and insufficient internalization in the educational results. Drawing on the concepts and principles of “cultural arbitrariness” and “habits” of Bourdieu's “cultural reproduction” theory, the college students' ideological and political education can be improved from the following aspects: the “cultural arbitrariness” of the will of the country is effectively implemented in the classroom; the limitations of students' understanding are reduced by strengthening the insight education of positive energy; the students can both acquire and master the education through developing diversified practices; and the students' habits of good consciousness are shaped by normalizing the ideological and political education.
