Engels’ Insistence, Development and Contemporary Value of Marxist Theory

Abstract

Abstract: Engels lived a remarkable life and is credited with the development of Marxist theory. Engels not only co-founded and developed the materialistic concept of history with Marx, but also supported Marx’s research work with human and financial resources for a long time, and made tremendous sacrifices to help Marx finish his masterpiece Capital. Engels’ persistence and perfection of Marxism not only greatly enriched the theoretical content of Marxism, but also strongly defended the dignity of Marxism.
