Abstract: Xi Jinping’s green development thoughts include rich contents such as the “common prosperity and decline” thought of ecology and civilization, the “people-centered” green development concept, ecological economic thoughts, ecological people’s livelihood thoughts, and ecological safety thoughts. The influence of ecological education can be enhanced by striving to implement Xi Jinping’s green development thought, firmly grasp the direction of ecological education, and deepen ecological education content facing the current existence of unfirm ecological education thoughts, inaccurate ecological education positioning, and closed and random ecological education in higher vocational colleges.
