A Study on the Multiple Identification of Bai Zu Writer Zhao Shiming's Literary Creation

Abstract: Zhao Shiming is a famous Bai poet who was mainly active in the period of the late Qing and the Republic of China. On the one hand, he was influenced by traditional Confucian culture and literature, and he had a profound heritage of classical literature. During the period, Bai people were progressive literati. As a Bai writer, his literary creation and literary activities are unique among many modern writers. This article focuses on the identity issues of Zhao Shiming's literary creation activities, and discusses their multiple identity issues in literary activities from the aspects of ethnic identity, regional cultural identity, and modern national identity. Through this case study, he is committed to the exchange and integration of Chinese multi-ethnic literature and culture.
