The Main Orientation of “Value Research” in Contemporary Minority Literature

Abstract: The study of the basic value of contemporary minority literature has played a great role in the improvement of the overall concept of Chinese literature. Onthe practical level, the main orientation of “value study” can be seen from three perspectives: (1) promoting the research development of national literature; (2) help national literature form its features; (3) influence the theoretical construction of national literature. Value research is the source of motivation for the study of contemporary Chinese minority literature, which will eventually make contemporary Chinese multi-ethnic literature more splendid.
