Abstract: WBS in project management, is not only a mode of work management, but a concept of management. This concept is widely used in work and life, especially in the supervision and service of university library, which makes library staff know clearly where their responsibilities lie, and makes students understand ways and means of borrowing books and get quick access to his or her item, know what to deliver. By so doing, WBS will eventually help students acquire knowledge and cultivate self-directed learning ability.
