Abstract: As a new idea and measure of deepening and expanding service, this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions on how university libraries can make use of regional characteristic resources to promote local social, economic and cultural development, and puts forward some ideas on how to strengthen the construction of regional characteristic resources, create the literature brand of regional characteristic resources and promote the development of library itself.
