The Evolvement of Currency System during the Period of the Republic of China in Yunnan

Abstract

Abstract: Taking the evolution of Yunnan monetary system in the period of the Republic of China as the starting point, this paper combs the historical situation of the monetary and financial reform of Cai E, Tang Jiyao, long Yun and Lu Han in their respective ruling period. Through sorting out the situation of currency issuance and circulation in various periods, the paper discusses the evolution process and reasons of Yunnan monetary system, as well as its function and effect on Yunnan's financial and economic development at that time.
