Abstract: Qingshui River Basin is located in the southeastern Guizhou and many ethnic groups living along the basin. Since Qing Dynasty, Barbarians of volume 30 of Guizhou's Records(Emperor Kangxi' Era), Huangqing Zhigong Tu (Picture Album of Subordinate Peoples of the Qing Dynasty), Illustrations of Miao Branches and other records have related to these groups. These works that cover the livelihoods and lifestyles, customs and social interactions of these groups, have much value as historical records. What is worthwhile to note that all the above-mentioned works can find evidence in the documents of Qingshui River.This paper trying to make a comprehensive research of the mentioned illustrations, hope to promote the research of Qingshui River.
