Research on the New Path to the Development of Chinese International Education Cooperation for Middle School Students——A Case Study of the “High-quality Chinese language training in China for high school students of Thailand”

Abstract: This paper discusses the necessity to explore new models for Chinese overseas language projects. Based on the practice of High-quality Chinese language training in China for high school students of Thailand, this paper systematically analyzes the project's teaching model design, project management experience and challenges. The study concludes that the education for international students coming to China in the countries along the “Belt and Road” route has great potential for development. Universities in the western region may develop multi-modal cooperative exploration, expand Chinese language and cultural immersive intensive training programs for middle school students, and promote the promotion of the scale and quality of Chinese international education.
