Abstract: This article USES the literature material method, expert interview method, field survey and other research methods, the western Yunnan Lincang city, Dehong prefecture, Baoshan city, Dali prefecture area during the Spring Festival, such as sports and cultural activities to carry out investigation and analysis, aims to collect and sort out the above regional sports activities during the Spring Festival and the present situation of the development of cultural activities, organization form, the masses participation, social impact, etc. This paper expected to dig deeper into restricted factors to develop the sports cultural activities during the Spring Festival in western Yunnan region, western Yunnan area is put forward to develop the healthy and sustainable development of sports cultural activities during the Spring Festival's suggestion, through the western Yunnan area during the Spring Festival of sports and cultural activities, to achieve unity and harmony between all the peoples in western Yunnan region, promote western Yunnan area border area and abroad of stability and unity.
