Abstract: There are two literate families in Yunnan in the Yuan Dynasty. They are the Wang family in Kunming, represented by Wang Sheng and the Yang family in Dali, represented by Yang Tai, Yang Xiaoxian and Yang ting. In addition to Wang Sheng, Yang Tai and Yang Ting, there are twelve native writers in Yunnan in the Yuan Dynasty. They are Duan Fu, Zhao Ziyuan, Yang Xingxian, Yin Juzhan, Li Jingren, Duan Wenrui, Zhang Boliang, Shi Xuantong, Shi Chongzhao, Shi Yuanhu, Zhang Jingyun and Dong Xian. Although there are few native writers in Yunnan in the Yuan Dynasty and few related works, these writers and their works have important value and status in the history of Yunnan literature.
