Abstract: Based on a series of problems in the modern rural tourism development, this article starts from ecology ,living and production and based on the traditional rural tourism planning, such as spatial interaction theory and spatial planning theory as the instruction, studies the planning of rural tourism based on the ecology, living and production. Planning based on the ecology, living and production of resources, landscape, space and benefit, starts from content analysis, planning, risk and benefit assessment, implementation safeguard measures such as process. With cased of Wanxi Chong in Kunming, Yunnan Province, this article probes into the rural tourism planning how to make living, production and ecology both contact and non-interference, finally achieve good benefit and realize the goal of sustainable development.
