Abstract: Water inscriptions are the important historical materials for studying water conservancy history, agricultural history, social history, national history and cultural history of Xiangyun. Xiangyun has a long history and splendid culture. Water inscriptions preserved in the county are very rich. However, their current situation of preservation and research is worrying. The relevant departments should attach great importance to strengthening management and protection. Based on the overall survey of water inscription remains, these documentary resources should be actively integrated so as to be permanently preserved for retrieval and utilization.
