The Value and Effect of Qujing Local “Red Culture” inIdeological and Political Education in Colleges and Universities from the Perspective of Regional Culture

Abstract: The “red culture” was born and developed in the era of China’s “revolutionary” environment in the 20th century. In the 20th century, China was striving to get rid of the enslavement and quarrel between the powerful and the national independence and the nation’s prosperity and strength. The Communist Party of China is the leader of the new-democratic revolution and the creation subject of the “red culture.” “Red culture” is the internalization of Marxism in China and the development of Chinese traditional culture. The ideological and political education in colleges and universities is related to the guidance and shaping of the world outlook, outlook on life, and values of the undergraduates, that is, the backbone of future social development. “Red culture” is an important educational and cultural resource and means.
