Reconstruction of Historical Culture and Travel Experience in Modern Rural Tourism——Based on Nakeli Village of Ning-er County in Yunnan Province

Abstract: Historical culture resources of the village named Nakeli are the support of its rural tourism, which shaped the comprehensive tourist experience involving in historical culture, recreation and accommodation. “Material Flow” and “People Flow” formed the historical cultural basis of the Tea-Horse Road, and were the indirect factor of Tea-Horse Inn of Nakeli. However, with the impact of social change and modern transportation, Nakeli gradually declined. Since 2007, the historical culture of Tea-Horse Road has been reconstructed during the process of tourism development dominated by the government, and Nakeli has become a characteristic village of rural tourism successfully. Meanwhile, this case presents the historical culture and space reproduction of rural tourism under the impact of modernization, and the limitation of markets and customers.
