Factors Affecting the Flow of Teachers in Independent Colleges and the Strategy Selection

Abstract: Reasonable teachers' mobility is of great significance in promoting teachers' professional development, improving the education quality and sustainable development of independent colleges. Through investigation analysis and deep interview, it is found that the majority of the teachers in the independent college are young women and postgraduates, who face many problems such as low salary, high economic pressure, heavy workload and unstable position, etc. Many factors have certain influence on the flow of teachers, such as the basic structure of the teachers, scientific research ability, family situation, salary, the management and evaluation. However, the main factors are salary, personal development expectation and job promotion. This paper puts forward some specific suggestions on how to guide the flow of teachers in independent colleges from the aspects of policy, system, management and salary.
