Abstract: Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the CPC central committee attaches great importance to scientific and technological innovation, and places the development strategy driven by innovation of science and technology in the central position of the national development. Chinese people of all ethnic groups are united and led by the party in order to achieve the goal of the great power of science and technology. The great role of the strategy in the overall development of the country should be fully understood. Xi Jinxing's ideas on scientific and technological innovation should be further studied. This paper discusses the realistic foundation, strategic connotation and strategic significance of the strategy, as well as the critical role of implementing the strategy in the process of achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
