Abstract: On the basis of documentary, interviews and online surveys, the paper analyzes the current situation of physical education in vocational colleges, and expounds the basic thoughts of physical education innovation, which takes Great Sport as the guideline, demand for talent as the direction, cultivation of professional quality as the main task, reformation of teaching practice as the approach and four-dimension propaganda as the breakthrough. What’s more, countermeasures and suggestions to develop and edit school-based textbook, to set a “2+1” physical education teaching mode, to establish the program of sports club after class, to design practical sports item and to construct physical education teaching team and network course learning platform are put forward in the hope of providing practical reference for the innovation development of vocational physical education in our country.
